Larry Stine, 68, died Saturday,
November 23, 2019 at McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South
Dakota. Larry was born December 11, 1950 to David and Doris
Stine in Hampton, Iowa, the middle child of three children.
He graduated from Iowa Falls High School in May 1969. In 1973, Larry began his lifetime
career as a high school vocational agriculture teacher and
FFA Advisor. He taught at Estherville High School for 28
years before retiring in 2001. Apart from teaching and being
the advisor for the local FFA Chapter, Larry enjoyed
spending time with his family and grandchildren. He loved to
watch Iowa State Athletics and helping his son at his auto
restoration business. Larry is survived by his wife,
LeeLannee; sons, Matthew (Tammy) Stine and Robert (Lisa)
Stine; grandchildren, Kyrsten Holloway, Justin Lanning,
Alysa Young, Marc Lucas, Tayler Lucas, Emma Young, and
Kallie Stine. Larry was preceded in death by his parents,
brother (David Jr.), sister (Linda), and daughter Buffy
Lucas (Stine). |
